UPSI CV/PST Dates OUT

UP SI CV/PST Dates have been released on the official website. The Certificate Verification Round will be held on 15th and 16th June 2026. The Reserve Day for the CV round is 17th June for those candidates who in any case were not able to appear in the CV round on the due date. UP SI Apply Online 2026

UP SI Apply Online Date 2025-26 is over now. However, candidates can check the steps below of how to apply for the UP Police SI vacancy 2025-26.

Step 1: Register Online on UPPRPB Website

Visit the official website of the UPSI and click on the registration link which is available on the homepage. Click on the link to apply for UPSI Recruitment. Click on 'New Registration' and register yourself by providing the required details.

In this first stage of registration, candidates need to fill in details such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, DOB, Gender, marital status, category, AADHAR No. and communication information like address, mobile no., e-mail ID, Educational Qualification, preferential qualification and address. 

Step 2: Login & OTP Activation

After entering the required details click on ‘Next’ button to see a preview of the details entered for verification. Once submitted the registration number will be generated and OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number and email ID.

Step 3: Fill Out UPSI Application Form

Once the candidates have generated an OTP, they can activate his/her application by using the “Activate through OTP” option in the portal. The candidate can proceed further after the activation of application. Login with the credentials provided during registration. Enter all the required details in the UPSI application form. 

Step 4: Pay UP SI Application Fee

Pay the required application fee as per your category. Payment can be done only through SBI Payment Gateway. There is no refund for candidates who make multiple payments. After completion of payment, the Registration number will be generated and the candidate can take print of his application.

Step 5: Upload Required Documents

After successful completion of payment, candidate must login and upload scanned copy of his/ her photo, signature and applicable documents and complete the registration process Candidate should take print of the acknowledgement (Application) and keep it for all future references. UP SI Form Fees 2026

The candidates who are applying for the post of UPSI recruitment will have to pay an application fee. The application fee should be paid online at the time of submitting the application. 

• General/OBC/EWS - Rs.500/-
• SC/ST - Rs.400/-

Note: There will be no refund of the application fee, once paid by the candidates.

UP SI Selection Process 2026

The UP Police SI selection process comprises of Written Test, Documentation, Physical Standards Test, Computer Typing Test, & Shorthand Test.

Stage I - Written Exam 

The First Stage of the selection process is the written examination. The written examination is taken to judge the knowledge of the candidates in various subjects such as General Hindi, Law/Constitution, Numerical & Mental Ability, and Mental Aptitude/Reasoning. The examination is conducted in the online mode (CBT). The exam will be of objective type.

Stage II - Document Verification & Physical Standards Test 

Candidates who qualify in the written exam are called for Document Verification to confirm their eligibility based on educational qualifications, age, and other criteria. Alongside DV, the Physical Standard Test ensures that candidates meet the required physical measurements such as height, chest (for male candidates), and weight (for female candidates). These standards vary for different categories as per UPPRPB norms. 

Stage III - Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

The PET evaluates candidates’ physical fitness and endurance through specific tasks such as running within a set time limit. Male candidates generally have to complete a longer running distance compared to female candidates. This stage ensures that selected candidates possess the physical stamina required for policing duties. 

Stage IV - Medical Examination and Character Verification

In the final stage, candidates undergo a comprehensive medical examination to verify that they are medically fit for police service. This includes checks on vision, hearing, overall health, and absence of chronic illnesses. Simultaneously, a character verification process is conducted to ensure the candidate’s background is free from any criminal or disciplinary records. Only those who clear both medical and character checks are considered for the final merit list and appointment.
