SBI Clerk 2026 Selection Process
The SBI Clerk Selection Procedure 2026 consists of two main phases i.e the Preliminary Exam and the Mains Exam, followed by the Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT). Candidates must qualify in both stages to secure a final appointment in the clerical cadre. There is no provision for Inter Circle or Inter State transfer for newly recruited Junior Associates.
- Phase 1: SBI Clerk Preliminary Exam (Qualifying in nature).
- Phase 2: SBI Clerk Mains Exam (Marks considered for final selection).
- Phase 3: Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) for candidates who do not have proof of local language proficiency
Note: No Inter Circle/Inter State Transfer allowed post-recruitment. SBI Trained Apprentices may get 5 bonus marks (2.5% of total marks) in the Mains Exam.
