RSMSSB Exam Guidelines

The candidates for the RSSM Lab Assistant examinations are informed as follows:

1. Applicants must ensure that they possess the prescribed eligibility and educational qualifications as per the said advertisement of the Board office.

2. If the photograph on your identity card is 03 years or older, ensure it is updated so that the photograph printed on the examination admit card at the time of the examination can be matched with the photograph on your original identity card, and you do not face any difficulty at the time of entry. It is mandatory for the photograph on your original identity card to match the photograph on the admit card; otherwise, you will not be permitted to enter the examination center.

3. Five options/circles will be given for every question in the examination. The first four options/circles A, B, C, and D will be related to the correct answer, and the fifth option/circle ’E’ will be related to the “unattempted question”.

4. To indicate the correct answer for the concerned question number on the OMR answer sheet, only one option/circle out of the first four must be darkened with a blue ballpoint pen. If the candidate does not want to answer any question, then the fifth option/circle ’E’ will have to be darkened.

5. If none of the five options/circles is darkened, then 1/3 mark of that question will be deducted.

6. If the candidate does not darken any option/circle for more than 10 percent of the questions, they will be declared ineligible for the examination.

7. Candidates will be given 10 minutes of extra time to determine whether any option/circle has been darkened or not for each question.

8. The date for downloading the “Provisional E-Admit Card” for the aforementioned examinations will be notified in due course. Admit cards will not be sent separately by the Board to the candidates.

9. Do not trust the ongoing propaganda on various social media regarding the examinations. Information published by the Board through prestigious state-level newspapers and on the Board’s website www.rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in should only be considered authorized.

10. Updated instructions regarding the dress code are uploaded on the board’s website from time to time. The dress code is also mentioned in the notification for the issuance of the admit card. Therefore, it is mandatory to follow the dress code accordingly so that no problem arises for entry into the examination center.
