JSSC Special Teacher Revised Exam Date 2026: The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has postponed the exam, which was scheduled to be held on 23 May 2026. The exam has been postponed due to unavoidable reasons. The revised schedule for the exam will be announced soon on the official JSSC website. Recruitment is now open after the JSSC has issued a notification for the recruitment of Special Education Assistant Teacher JSSC 2025-26. As the process is stated for making recruitment of Inter-Trained and Graduate-Trained Special Education Assistant Teachers for Primary (Class 1-5) and Upper Primary (Class 6-8) level jobs. The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission will release the revised JSSC Special Teacher Exam Date 2026 for the Jharkhand Intermediate and Graduate Trained Special Education Assistant Teacher Joint Competitive Examination-2025. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held on 5th, 6th, and 7th May 2026 and then again it was postponed to 23 May 2026.
For the year 2026, a total of 3451 JSSC Special Educator vacancies have been announced by the JSSC, making this one of the largest special educator recruitment drives in the state of Jharkhand. These posts have been categorically separated into primary and upper primary teaching levels in order to maintain equal distribution of staffing amongst schools. The vacancy structure clearly distinguishes between Inter-Trained teachers for Classes 1-5 and graduate-trained teachers for Classes 6-8, with subject-specific posts at the upper primary level.

The goal of the JSSC Special Educator Syllabus 2025-26 is to assess the candidate’s general awareness, reasoning ability, aptitude for teaching, child psychology, and special education. The hall ticket of the JSSC Special Educator will be available for download on its official website a few weeks before the written examination. All candidates will have to download and show it at the exam center. With the help of the registration ID and date of birth, the candidates can download the hall ticket. Moreover, the hall ticket will contain details like the exam date and time, the exam centre address, the roll number, and instructions for exam day. It is vital for candidates to examine all the details printed on the admit card. Furthermore, if there are any discrepancies, they should quickly report to the authorities of JSSC. No candidate will be allowed entry into the examination hall without a valid admit card printed in colour.
After conducting the written examination, the JSSC Special Educator Result 2026 will be released in PDF form by the official JSSC portal in order for candidates to check their different selection statuses online. The inter-trained teachers by classes 1 to 5 will be placed at pay level 4, which extends from ₹25,500 to around ₹81,100 in salaries, while graduate-trained teachers for classes 6-8 will earn pay level 5 salaries ranging from ₹29,200 to ₹92,300, making this financially rewarding. Selected candidates will offer Contract Regularization, including Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), medical benefits, pension, and other admissible government allowances in addition to their pay, securing both stability and career progression.
