SBI Apprentice 2026 Salary

Candidates who will be selected for SBI Apprentice will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000 during the training period. SBI will also provide this amount as a fixed stipend every month. Apprentices will not receive extra benefits or allowances like DA, HRA, medical benefits, or other employee perks. This program only focuses on training and skill development.

The SBI Apprentice training period will be for one year. Candidates will work as apprentices during this period under the Apprenticeship Act guidelines. SBI has clearly mentioned that this apprenticeship does not guarantee a permanent job after completion of training. The bank is not required to offer full-time employment after the apprenticeship period ends.

SBI Apprentice working hours are similar to regular banking office timing. Apprentices  work for around 6 to 8 hours regularly at allotted SBI Branch. Candidates may also need to work on Saturdays depending on branch schedule and banking operations. During the training period apprentices learn banking tasks, customer handling and office work.
